Michael Green

Michael Green II contributed to this project as the Content Developer for Bridging The Gap. He is a Gender Studies Major interested in corporate leadership and law. He aims to make use of his undergraduate skills to acquire a job or internship in the sports industry then enroll in a deferred MBA program after graduation. Reflecting on this project, Michael honed his narrative writing and critical analysis skills and developed a foundation for data visulization and statistics. In his fourth year, Michael is excited to use his newfound love for data and softwares like Tableau and Palladio to create more engaging and complete stories.
Ava Schaefer

Ava Schaefer contributed to this project as the Data Specialist for SF Stop Watch. She is a Business Economics major and Entrepreneurship minor interested in consulting, growth strategy, and venture capital. She aims to work in management consulting at Bain & Company after graduation. Reflecting on this project, Ava honed her data cleaning, R Studio, and Tableau skills, and developed a foundation for analyzing humanistic data. She formatted and manipulated the project dataset to lead to more clear analyses, and was able to help guide the project’s direction by providing insights into what compelling conclusions can be found from the dataset.
Cashmere Wendt

Cashmere Wendt contributed to this project as Web Designer for Bridging the Gap. She is a Communications and Data Science major. She seeks to become a lawyer initially entering the Corporate realm of Law. Post Graduation she will be entering law school. Reflecting on this project she honed in on her skills in photoshop and professional web design and developed a foundation for structuring and organizing research material via web platforms. She created and structured the project website to reflect the culmination of resources and research material that went into the projects practical and visual appeal.
Dustin Danner

Dustin Danner contributed to this project as the Data Visualization Specialist for SF Stop Watch. He is a Business-Economics major with a Digital Humanities minor interested in market research and aims to work in business analytics after graduation. Reflecting on this project, he honed his visualization design skills and developed a foundation for Tableau, WordPress, and conducting research in a humanistic sector. Drawing on years of design experience in platforms like Photoshop and Illustrator, Dustin enjoyed communicating the project’s message through clear and visually-appealing data visualizations.
Rachel Szeto

Rachel Szeto contributed to this project as the Data Visualization Specialist and Editor for SF Stop Watch. She is a Psychology major and Digital Humanities minor interested in market research and data analytics and aims to work in the tech/cosmetic industry after graduation. Reflecting on this project, she honed her data visualization skills, utilizing Tableau and Python, and developed a foundation for ensuring that every visual was polished, clear, and easy to interpret. Thus, she was able to translate complex data into meaningful, visually compelling stories that support impactful decision-making for the team.
Neha Krishnakumar

Neha Krishnakumar, who is majoring in Communications with a Computing Specialization and minoring in Digital Humanities and Film, contributed to this project as the Project Manager. Specifically, she organized meetings, ensured the team met deadlines, and assisted throughout the project as needed. She also developed the data critique, created the dot distribution map and corresponding section of the narrative, and contributed to several of the data visualization charts.
Through this project experience, Neha utilized her collaborative skills to keep the project on track and developed a foundation for working with data. After graduation, she aims to work in business strategy in the media-technology sector.
